James 4: 1-3 "What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? You desire and do not have, so you murder. You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions." ESV
We looked here yesterday but I want us to see the last part. "You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions." God wants good for us thus sometimes He holds back because what we're asking for is not best for us. There's an old song that says "thank God for unanswered prayers". If what your seeking from God is not happening maybe ask God to show you why but be ready for the answer.
